Murnau a. Staffelsee lies in the picturesque foothills of the Alps and is the heart of the Blue Land, as it was once affectionately called by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc. Just a few kilometers south lies the Murnauer Moos at your feet and behind it the imposing mountain peaks of the Alps rise into the sky.
